The plot thickens!
George is just getting deeper in trouble and Mitchell is in for a rude awakening.

I got a bit peeved about the scene with the young priest speaking from the pulpit...those words would never be said from the lecturn as they are part of the mass 'propper' and would only be said at the alter.
You'd think they would do a bit of research on that.

Also, I swear that Mitchell isn't in the bed when the Doctor is talking to him!!!! Now you see him now you don't!

Or am I getting too critical?
That was a reflection of the bed- they must be going with the vampires lacking a reflection thing. We only saw the bed in the mirror in that scene.

I though the churchy scenes were really clumsy too and I'm not even a churchgoer. Making the villain a religious bigot seems a bit obvious really- maybe if he weren't so two-dimensional...

I didn't even notice that, Em, but you're right, it should have been the altar.

He is very 2 dimensional, I expect that's intentional because he's so stuck on the track he's on. I won't say more because I can't remember how much you know at this point.

The funeral parlour has just been blown up, and we've seen some Kemp flashbacks as a young priest discovering the vampire victims.

Oh of course! The reflection! I didn't realize it was a mirrored image. Doah! *hits forehead*

The doctor looks a bit like a nun. Don't know what Mitchell sees in her! Maybe its her spirituality?

Mitchell looks very handsome when he smiles.

The tension is mounting - final ep of the series next week.
I am sure the makers are Buffy inspired. The scene on the train was very Drusilla!

George's transformation in the school was very scary - that poor kid.

I liked the lines between george & Annie that went something like this:
Annie:I'm going with you to make sure he doesn't do anything to you.
George: I'll be alright - he's a Catholic priest.
Annie; Yeah...that's what I mean.

Can you please tell me what happened after George encountered his new squeezes daughter at the school mid-change? It didn't work on our copy and I never quite got the link with how the next ep started.

Did anyone else get irked when they mention (earlier in this season) that there is a werewolf named Nina in Buffy lol. I found myself commenting 'that's in ANGEL' at the telly loudly!

Yes, quite obviously an homage to Buffy, that bit on the train. I thought so anyway. Perhaps they hark back to old horror movies too?

1. He told the kid to run and she did, not before she got a good look at his face in mid-change. Then George took off through the streets and only just made it back to the shared house in time where Annie helped him into his cage.

2. Yes! Maybe they thought Buffy was the more recognizable reference or something? In the sense of the Buffyverse it still made sense.

That new squeeze drives me mad. I think she was very pushy about him coming to the child's p/t night. I wouldn't want a new man coming to p/t nights with me! She sounds way too clingy!

OK, now I'm even more confused about how the next ep starts. Hm, maybe I missed a bit of the beginning of that ep too Confused

Well you'll just have to watch it again Blue! lol The last two eps are up on the ABC website for a short while longer.

That last episode was dramatic! I'm glad the doctor sort of tried to redeem herself, I liked her despite everything. And some of my best friends believe in Intelligent Design- no-one's perfect. Razz They don't go around killing people horribly in horrible pressure chambers though. Erm, as far as I know. Perhaps there's a real life analogy.

Mixed feelings about Herrick's revival- he was such a good villain, but what is he going to put our protagonists through next season?

I'm interested to see where the Annie plotline takes us.

Nah, I don't care that much, was just hoping someone could fill me in so I don't have to dl it again. But if that's too much to ask ... pokes tongue

I fucking hated Herrick's arrival. He was a crap big bad in the first season and I can't believe they have so few ideas as to bring him back for the third season.

Herrick doesn't have enough personality for me. He's very one dimentional. I would have preferred another big bad.

I hope Annie has not gone forever. I like her. She is very funny and cute.

Well I did try. Sad I don't get what you don't get, if you get me.
